DESCRIPTION:7pm-8:30pm. Bloomer Park\, 345 John R Road. Join us for an exciting evening looking at the stars! Providing the sky cooperates\, enjoy a scenic view of the night sky through telescopes with the Oakland Astronomy Club. If it’s a cloudy night\, enjoy a guided night hike\, owl calling\, and more followed by marshmallows roasting over a crackling campfire. \nSuitable for all ages. Children under 12 must purchase a ticket and be accompanied by a paid adult. \nParticipants will meet at the Pine Grove Shelter. Please arrive on time as program content starts promptly. As a courtesy to wildlife and other participants\, please leave your pets at home. Content such as changes/maps will be sent via email leading up to the program. Pre-registration is required.
