Welcome back to Caron’s Fireside Chat! We were joined by Mike Peterson with Challenge Island – Oakland County East to talk about their incredible STEAM program, “where engineering meets imagination”!

Mike speaks so passionately about the importance of kids working as a team, problem-solving, using their imagination, and improving their social skills! Kids are formed into groups, given a project to work on with resources they can find anywhere, and they are challenged to get creative! Their goal is to transform your imaginative child into “tomorrow’s empowered, globally successful adult” while having a blast!
