This week, I had the pleasure of welcoming Donna Wall and Teri Morrow from My New Favorite Thing in Lake Orion. Donna and Teri are truly two of the sweetest ladies, and it was so fun hearing them share the story behind this special shop! My New Favorite Thing
They told us about the owner, Tracy, who they described as one of the kindest people you could meet. Tracy originally opened the store with her daughter, but the boutique has grown tremendously since then!
What makes the store so unique is the amazing community behind it. The boutique now features over 200 vendors and 50 instructors, offering everything from handmade goods and vintage finds to beautiful refinished furniture, plus classes, workshops, and events!
My New Favorite Thing Boutique is widely recognized and has received numerous awards, and this year, they’ve been nominated again for the Oakland Press 2026 Best of the Best Awards in multiple categories. Voting ends March 15, so be sure to show your support and get your votes in today!
