Events Happening in the Rochester Area this Holiday Season!

Drink Local: Holiday Edition
– Enjoy 18 featured beverages from participating downtown restaurants through the month of December!

Snowman Stroll
– We are excited to announce that the Snowman Stroll is back! This holiday season, a dozen five-foot fiberglass snowman, designed by local artists and sponsored by local businesses will adorn Main Street in Downtown Rochester!
– December 1-31

Pancakes and PJ’s
– Attendees will enjoy a pancake feast cooked and provided by our beloved Rochester Fire Fighters, kids craft and holiday themed photo spot. Proceeds benefit The Big, Bright Light Show.
– Date: Thursday, December 14
– Time: 5:00 – 8:00 PM (reservations required)
– Location: Rochester Fire Department 277 E. Second St.
– Price: $15 per ticket. Reservations are required, see button below to purchase your timed ticket. Each reservation block has limited seating

Kris Kringle Market
– The Downtown Rochester Kris Kringle Market was inspired by the 700-year old tradition of the open-air Christmas markets throughout Europe. The event will feature one-of-a-kind shopping, specialty foods, fresh greens & wreaths and handcrafted gifts for the holiday.
– Shopping with over 35 local vendors offering holiday decorations, unique gifts, and delectable food.
– Live musical performances and caroling
– Santa will be available on Friday from 4:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturday, Noon – 9:00 pm
– Located: On West Fourth St. between Main & Walnut
– Friday, December 1st from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. & Saturday, December 2nd from Noon – 10:00 p.m.

Caroling in the City
– SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10, 5 – 8 P.M.
– Choirs, caroling, Ugly Sweater Contest, The Big, Bright Light Show and so much more!
– You won’t want to miss the grand finale – a community sing around a giant Christmas tree in the middle of Main Street! (Picture the Whos Down in Whoville, with A LOT more Christmas lights!

Neighborhood Light Fight
– VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE STREET DECEMBER 1 – 10!
– Do you love to decorate your house for the holidays? Seriously, is it so bright that you can see it from space? If so, we want you and your neighbors in the 4th Annual Neighborhood Light Fight, sponsored by Chief Financial CU! Click the link and sign up your block today!

Cookie Stroll
– SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2ND FROM 10 AM – 3 PM
– Purchase your official Downtown Rochester Cookie Tin and take a stroll with participating businesses downtown to collect your delightful cookies. (Sold out)
