Rochester Hills was ranked “14th Most Liveable City in America” as part of USA Today’s Top 50 Most Liveable Cities.

Rochester Hills was the only city in Michigan to be recognized on the list.
According to USA Today, homes in Rochester Hills have continued to appreciate and are now roughly $90,000 more than the United States median home value.
Rochester Hills was recognized in 2016 as the safest city in Michigan and the 6th safest city in the nation, according to FBI data.

“Our entire team is focused every day on being the preeminent place to live, work and raise a family. To have those efforts validated both as #1 in Michigan and in the top 15 nationally is a recognition our entire community is responsible for,” said Mayor Bryan Barnett in a statement.

The city’s unemployment rate is currently experiencing a 2.9 percent unemployment rate, 99 percent occupancy rates in technology parks and 97 percent occupancy city-wide. Established in 1984, the City of Rochester Hills is a prosperous community offering residents and businesses superior services.
